A BIG thank you for your wonderful reponse to the Gift Day. Below is a summary of the results. The money raised will be split between the buildings fund and the mission opportunities fund.

Church Family Weekend
29th June – 1st July at Cloverley Hall
I would like to encourage as many as possible from both Aughton and Bickerstaffe to attend the weekend away at Cloverley Hall. It is an opportunity to join together in fellowship, while also having fun! We have invited the Coverdale Puppets to join us on the weekend. They are a Christian puppet theatre who will perform puppet shows and organise craft for the children. The adults will be reflecting upon the theme of ‘the Church’, and looking at the metaphors to describe the church in the bible. We also play the usual table quiz, walks and home grown entertainment….so come along!!! Forms at the back of church. Andrew

Ash Wednesday
There will be a Communion Service at 7.30 pm.
Please note that there will be no Communion at 11am.

Lent Groups
Please note the change of time and venue of the Wednesday evening group. The group will now meet at 6 Brookfield Lane at 7.00 pm.

Pancake Party for all the family
Bickerstaffe Church warmly invites both children and adults to their annual pancake party on Tue 21st February at 6pm at Four Lane Ends Mission. There will be craft activities for children and lots of pancakes! There is a sign up sheet at the back of church.

Women’s World Day of Prayer
Friday, 2nd March at 7.30 pm
Just a reminder about the above Service which has been prepared by Christian Women from Malaysia. There is more information in the February Newsletter which we trust will be both interesting and informative. Betty Craig is in charge of the catering for this occasion and would be most grateful for any cakes/scones you may wish to donate. Please could you let her know if you are able to help. We anticipate around 100 people may attend, so any contribution in this respect will be gratefully received. Whether you can help or not, we do hope you will be able to come and enjoy what we hope will be a very stimulating evening.
